Relief Factor Rip-Off Report – Our Experience, Should You Avoid? (2022)

Relief Factor

*Updated for February 2023.

Relief Factor is a joint supplement that claims to provide relief from inflammation and joint pain. However, we’ve found it to be an overpriced product with very little scientific backing behind its ingredients, which led us to concluding it’s a rip off. Read our full Relief Factor Ripoff Report to learn why.

The Relief Factor joint supplement is a completely natural product, designed with nutrients and herbal ingredients that ease chronic pain and inflammation in your joints. The ingredients supposedly work by stimulating the release of synovial fluid, lubricating your joints and reducing friction between them, which lessens pain and stiffness.

But as an under-dosed supplement, Relief Factor has some issues that we’ll address in the following sections.

What is Relief Factor and What Are its Benefits?

Relief Factor is a supplement manufactured by Promdev LLC. It comes in packets that contain 2 capsules and 2 softgels per serving. Taking these every day, you’re promised:

  • Reduction in pain
  • Lessened inflammation
  • Easing joint stiffness
  • Less discomfort in everyday movement

But how well will Relief Factor work for you?

In this concise Relief Factor report, we take a look at the main downsides of this product that led us conclude that it’s a rip-off.

This includes subscription service issues, unauthorized credit card charges, as well as unproven ingredients in the formula and the extremely high price of $93.95 for one-time purchase.

What is Inside Relief Factor?

Here is the image of Relief Factor’s ingredient label:

Relief Factor ingredients

The image didn’t load properly? The ingredients in Relief Factor are Epimedium (200mg), Turmeric (667mg with 18% curcuminoids), Japanese fleeceflower (70mg), EPA omega-3 fatty acid (647mg) and DHA omega-3 fatty acid (253mg).

Unfortunately many of these ingredients are not proven to improve joint health. In fact, only turmeric and omega-3 fatty acids in Relief Factor are worth mentioning. Epimedium and Japanese fleeceflower are not effective at reducing pain or alleviating stiffness according to our current evidence.

But even turmeric and Omega-3s aren’t optimally dosed for joint health. And turmeric has poor absorption, you need to take it with black pepper extract to allow your body to extract its anti-inflammatory compounds. (source)

So even the ingredients in that otherwise do work in other joint supplements, don’t work in Relief Factor as they’re not properly formulated.

With that in mind, Relief Factor is also missing some key ingredients that we see in the best joint supplements. This makes its formula incomplete and well behind the industry-leading formulas. We don’t think turmeric and omega-3s alone can do all that Relief Factor claims. You would be better off buying these two ingredients in a grocery store for a lot cheaper, and get the same effect.

Could Relief Factor Use Better Ingredients?

Yes, Relief Factor could use proven ingredients to increase its effectiveness for joint pain, flexibility, and long-range function. Here are some of the key ingredients missing from Relief Factor:

Glucosamine is an essential amino sugar that can be synthesized in the body or taken as a dietary supplement.

It helps to maintain the health of joint cartilage and acts synergistically with chondroitin.

Benefits of glucosamine supplements:

  1. Improves joint mobility
  2. Prevents joint pain
  3. Reduces joint inflammation
  4. Increases joint stability
  5. Promotes fast rehabilitation from injury

MSM is a natural supplement that provides many benefits for people suffering from joint pain and inflammation.

It helps by rebuilding the cartilage in your joints which will help to relieve pain and reduce inflammation.

We can see the benefits of MSM by looking at its chemical composition. It contains an organic acid called sulphur, which is a crucial part of our body’s connective tissue, and also contains minerals like calcium, magnesium, sodium and potassium.

The best way to start getting the benefits of MSM is to take it with food because it can cause upset stomach or indigestion when taken on an empty stomach.

Chondroitin supplements are really good for joint health. They have been shown to reduce the risk of major joint problems and improve overall mobility.

There are three main benefits of chondroitin supplements:

  • Reduce the risk of major joint problems
  • Improve overall mobility
  • Serve as a protective measure as we age

Hyaluronic Acid

Hylauronic acid is a natural compound that is found in abundance in the human body.

Hylauronic acid supplements are good for reducing joint pain caused by osteoarthritis. It also helps to boost skin health by repairing skin cells, making it less prone to bacterial infections.

If you are looking for a natural supplement that will help improve your joints, hyaluronic acid is worth looking into.

Glutamine is an amino acid that is found naturally in protein foods like meat, dairy products, wheat germ, avocados, cabbage, corn and soybeans. It helps to maintain healthy cells so it works to maintain healthy joints as well. Since its already found in your diet, it may not need to be supplemented if you already eat enough. However, if you’re an active person, your glutamine levels go down during training, so supplementation can be beneficial in that context.

Relief Factor Pricing

Relief Factor isn’t cheap so it’s crucial to know what you can expect from it. The price of the Relief Factor joint supplement varies depending on the quantity and the retailer. If buying from the manufacturer’s site, a one-month’s supply of Relief Factor will set you back by $93.95.

The price is only $13.95 for first-time buyers, however, there’s a catch.

You need to subscribe to automatic credit card charges and deliveries of Relief Factor if you want to get it for such a low price. This can present a problem to some customers who complained about the unauthorized charges from the company.

Relief Factor’s pricing is sort of a nightmare due to complex pricing structure and underdosed ingredients. Looking at its downsides, i’s easy to see why our Relief Factor Rip-Off Report isn’t the most positive one we’ve published recently.

What are the Main Issues With Relief Factor?

In our experience, there are 3 main issue with Relief Factor that put it in the “rip-off” category:

  1. Lack of better ingredients, and in more optimal dosages
  2. Extremely high price for the value it offers
  3. Poor company credibility and concerning number of Relief Factor rip-off reports from other customers

Luckily, the negative side effects don’t appear to be one of the issues with Relief Factor. With all of its downsides, the supplement looks safe for most healthy users.

Conclusion on Our Relief Factor Ripoff Report

That concludes our analysis of Relief Factor’s downsides that make it, in our opinion, a rip-off. We know we’ve been unusually harsh with this one, we’ll give them that. It’s hard to find a lot of positives when the product is overpriced, contains less than optimal amounts of key ingredients, and even uses unproven compounds to promote its marketing claims. The automatic (and sometimes unauthorized) credit card charges and poor company score on the Better Business Buereau was the last nail in the coffin for us.

This is why it’s important to do proper research when looking for a quality joint supplement. There are so many products available on the market – unfortunately, many similar to Relief Factor – that it can be hard to determine which brands are worth the money and which are not.

Luckily, there are some easy ways you can tell which supplements can be good for you. The first step is to see if you have allergies or sensitivities or any of the ingredients. Secondly, make sure that the product contains optimal servings and ingredient dosages – one month’s worth, minimum. Third, ask your doctor if they have a specific brand or supplement recommendation – that is always the best and safest way to go.
