Tuition and Affordability
Tuition for the 2019-2020 school year is $21,850, plus $970 for books, supplies, and trips, for a combined total of $22,820. Students in eighth grade are charged an additional $500 for the overnight transitions trip and graduation expenses.
An independent school education is an investment in your child’s future. At Cascade Canyon, we understand that affording independent school tuition, in addition to the cost of living in the Bay Area, can be challenging for some families.
Please follow the steps outlined below or feel free to contact the school office at 415-448-5125 for further information on how to apply.
We are committed to making Cascade Canyon affordable and accessible to as many families from as possible. While every family at CCS is expected to pay a portion of their tuition, we do not expect the level of tuition remission to be the same for everyone. If your family finds the cost of tuition a potential obstacle to attending, we encourage you to apply for financial aid, even if you are not sure will qualify.
To Apply for Financial Assistance:
Upload your 2018 federal tax returns, including all schedules and supporting documents, directly to your SSS account.
Include 1040, 1040A, or 1040EZ and schedules, such as A, B, C, D, etc. Include all W2s, 1099s, or documentation of income —anything you send to the IRS should be sent to SSS.
The Financial Assistance Committee will carefully review and assess your application. Decisions will be shared in mid-March for applications submitted by the deadline of March 15. The committee will retain a portion of funds for late applicants. However, applications submitted prior to the due date will receive priority. Families are required to reapply for aid each school year.
The Financial Assistance Committee maintains strict confidentiality of all financial information provided to them by our families.
